Mary Margaret has previously been shown as daughter of Robert Dennis and Margaret Godolphin. There is no evidence for this. The Visitations of Devon show a daughter Mary for Robert Dennis and his second wife Margaret, but she died without issue.^[1] A marriage between Christopher Lamberton and a Mary or Margaret Denis is shown in many poorly sourced trees on the web, but even they do not name any parents for her.

Wikipedia states that George Lamberton, son of Chrisopher Lamberton, was a great-grandson of Thomas Godolphin, who was uncle, not father, of Margaret Godolphin.^[2] If that is right, Mary Margaret cannot be the daughter of Margaret Godolphin.
